THE PERFECT LIME SYSTEM AESCO/MADSEN'S "LS" Series Portable Lime Slurry Processing Plants are designed to not only manufacture specification water/slurry mixtures to meet industry standards, but to also combine them with the appropriate aggregates either for on-site marination or for instant use in asphalt plant production processes.

Standard equipment consists of a 590 barrel (other sizes available) Lime Storage/Feed Silo which supplies the required amount of lime via a totally enclosed Weigh Belt Conveyor to the Lime Slurry/Mixing Trailer. Note that Lime Storage Silo/Base configuration breaks into two pieces for easier transportation.		The Lime Slurry Mixing Trailer is complete with a 6000 gallon water supply tank, 2000 gallon slurry mixing tank, lime and water metering devices, and a slurry mass flow metering system which automatically manufactures the lime/slurry product which is then supplied it to the Aggregate Feed/Pugmill Trailer.


The Aggregate Feed/Pugmill Trailer consists of a 16'x 10' (20 cu/yd struck capacity) cold feed hopper with 30" feed conveyor which then feeds a 36" inclined scale conveyor which finally feeds the 50hp twin shaft pugmill which then properly mixes the lime/slurry and the virgin aggregate to provide an asphalt plant ready product. Other standard features include: integral leveling legs on all trailers (no cribbing required), central calibration area for water, dry lime and lime slurry and OSHA approved belt and drive guards throughout.

In addition, the complete process is accurately controlled by a state-of-the-art, user-friendly, computer control system housed in a 8'x 16' Control Van Trailer. This system includes daily record keeping via either hard copy printer interface or computer disks for ease of transferring plant data to a remote location.
